Adobe India to nearly triple its staff
In June, Adobe indicated it would be hiring some employees in the U.S. and abroad. In its facility Noida, India--near New Delhi--Adobe India officials confirmed that it would be expanding its software development campus to accommodate 800 professional staff.
Currently the Noida installation employs about 250 professional staff and about 50 non-professionals. A two-phase expansion includes hiring an additional 100 professionals by the end of the year, and expanding to 800 beyond that once construction--now under way--is completed.
The hiring will be across several software lines, including creative web development professional products, intelligent document, digital imaging and digital video products.
"In the last four months, we have grown from 250 professionals to a little over 300 and we plan to grow to 400 professionals by the end of this year," the Managing Director of Adobe Systems India, Naresh Chand Gupta, in a story published at the Business Line Web site. "We are also hiring professionals in information systems and internal tool development group."
